Cradled between the Waianae and Koʻolau Mountain Range, lies Moku ʻo Wahiawā; the 7th moku of Oʻahu. Here, lies the geographical center of the island, famously known as, the very sacred, Kūkaniloko. Once a place that was reserved for only the highest ranked aliʻi births, is now a historical monument, bound together by those genealogically connected to this wahi pana as stewards of Puʻuhonua ʻo Kūkaniloko. Head southeast, about a 5 minute drive away, sits Kamalani Academy.

Free Public Charter School
Charter schools are tuition-free public schools that are open to all students and are operated independently from traditional public schools. They are created through an agreement, or charter, with a local or state government, which gives them more flexibility and budgetary freedom than traditional public schools. Charter schools are accountable to the same laws and standards as other public schools, including state testing and graduation requirements.
